The following outstanding researchers were awarded the EuChemS Division of Organic Chemistry Young Investigator Award

2021-2022

  • Professor Anat Milo  (Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel) for her development of experimental, computational, and statistical strategies to identify design principles behind molecular functionality, reactivity, and selectivity
  • Dr. Mónica Pérez-Temprano (Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ), Catalonia, Spain) for her contribution to the U3D goal (Understand, Discover, Design and Develop), novel and more efficient transition metal-catalyzed reactions

2020 Daniele Leonori (University of Manchester, UK) for the discovery, design and development of novel photoredox catalytic methods for chemical synthesis and in particular for his photochemical dehydrogenative strategies

2019 Marcos García Suero (ICIQ, Spain) for his significant and innovative discoveries in photoredox catalysis, and particularly for his studies on the generation of carbyne equivalents for late stage functionalization of aromatic compounds, and of radical carbenoids for the stereoconvergent formation of cyclopropanes

2018 Allan J. B. Watson (School of Chemistry, University of St Andrews, UK)

2017 Sílvia Osuna (IQCC, University of Girona, Spain)
