Chemistry Rediscovered – A European Competition

Jan 30, 2017

The Chemistry Rediscovered contest intends to promote chemistry among young high-school students from all Europe. This will be achieved with the help of teachers, who will develop scientific projects together with their students and encourage them to present their findings, in the form of a video-experiment, together with an accurate experimental protocol.

The competition will present itself in two stages: a first national selection of the two best teams, performed by the chemical society of each country; and a second stage, where the best national representatives will dispute the EYCN award.

EYCN national representatives should be responsible for revealing the contest among their respective chemical society, and collecting the respective answer. You will have the opportunity to organise together with your National Chemical Society a part of an International Contest offering as first prize a trip to London for the winning team!

The following documents will help you presenting the concept to your National Chemical Society:

– Rules and Regulations;
– Timeline;
– Project template;
– Poster.

Following the contact with your Chemical Society, please email your answer to and , until 17th of February 2017!

Good luck!
