EuChemS and RSC on the Outcome of the British Referendum

Jul 11, 2016

At a meeting of the Royal Society of Chemistry Council on Thursday, 7th July, following the vote by the United Kingdom to leave the European Union, the Council reinforced its commitment to diversity and inclusivity.

In a letter to senior members of EuChemS from the President, Professor Sir John Holman, the Past-President, Professor Dominic Tildesley and the Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Robert Parker, the Royal Society of Chemistry (UK) also confirm its commitment to continuing working closely with EuChemS by stating:

Our long-term commitment to chemistry in Europe remains as strong as ever and we will do everything in our power to continue to strengthen it. Far from closing doors to collaboration, we want to open them still further. We can happily also confirm that our commitment to EuChemS remains as strong as ever.”

The letter to EuChemS from the RSC together with a letter from EuChemS to the RSC can be read online.
