The symposium “From Molecule to Material”, held at Technische Universität Wien, marked the 80th birthday of Professor Ulrich Schubert and celebrated his outstanding contributions to chemistry and materials science.
Representing EuChemS, Professor Wolfram Koch, EuChemS Vice-President, congratulated Professor Schubert and recognised his important contribution to the organisation as EuChemS President from 2012 to 2014. His leadership played a key role in strengthening EuChemS governance, including the preparation of a new constitution and bylaws.
EuChemS warmly thanks Professor Schubert for his outstanding contributions to chemistry and to the European chemical sciences community, and wishes him continued health and success.
