Serbian Chemical Society – New President

Prof. Dr Vesna Mišković-Stanković is the new President of the Serbian Chemical Society – Српско хемијско друштво (СХД).
Prof. Mišković-Stanković is a professor at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, Serbia, and Visiting professor at Kyung Hee University, Seoul, South Korea. She has been Visiting Professor at the University of Trento, Italy; Ohio University, USA; Laval University, Quebec, Canada; Shandong University, Jinan, China, and Head of the Department of Physical Chemistry and Electrochemistry, Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade. She is group leader dealing with electrochemistry, electrodeposition, electrosynthesis, corrosion and metal surface modification, coatings, biomaterials, composites. Prof. Mišković-Stanković published 7 textbooks, 1 monograph, 8 chapters, 5 patents, 126 scientific papers in the leading international and 38 in the national journals, 39 invited lectures, 258 conference papers (164 international and 94 national), 2 prototypes, 2 technical solutions, and was leading/participating at 23 scientific projects. She was cited 1804 times, h index 25 ( SCOPUS), i.e. 2473 times, h index 29 (Google scholar). She serves as the National representative of the Division Committe of Physical and Biophysical Chemistry in IUPAC; member of The International Society of Electrochemistry, The American Electrochemical Society, European Federation for Corrosion, Serbian Scientific Society and Reviewer in 26 leading international journals.
