A strategic milestone: strengthening the European Chemistry Community
Oct 24, 2026
EuChemS has taken an important step towards realising its vision by signing two agreements with Society Publishers—Chemistry Europe and the Royal Society of Chemistry—during its General Assembly meetings in Belgrade.
The agreements build on the vision statement presented by the EuChemS Executive Board to the General Assembly in 2025:
“EuChemS’ vision is to strengthen the European Chemistry Community as represented by Member Societies and Society Publishers.”
Following extensive discussions, the agreements mark a significant milestone in developing closer collaboration between EuChemS and Society Publishers. They establish a clear framework for working together and provide a foundation for joint action.
By strengthening these partnerships, EuChemS is advancing its vision of a more closely connected European Chemistry Community, working towards shared goals in the service of science and society.
