In June 2022, EuChemS responded to the European Commission public stakeholder consultation on Revision of Regulation (EU) 2017/852 on Mercury.
Following previous EuChemS’ previous contributions on the topic, the organisation was advocating for the phase-out of mercury, however, opposing blanket bans in cases where alternatives are not yet sufficient.
