The International Conference on Carbon Dioxide Utilization (ICCDU) is a prestigious annual event that brings together global experts, researchers, and industry professionals to discuss innovative approaches to CO₂ capture, conversion, and utilization. Established in 1991, ICCDU has evolved into a premier forum for sharing scientific advancements and fostering collaboration across disciplines. Each year, the conference rotates its location between Asia, Europe, and the America, underscoring its commitment to international engagement and diversity. The 2025 edition, ICCDU 2025, will be hosted for the first time in Lisbon, Portugal, under the theme “CO₂ for a Circular Economy.” This year’s session topics include CO₂ capture and mineralization, biological and catalytic conversions, and applications for industrial decarbonization. Through these discussions, ICCDU 2025 aims to follow the success of the previous annual editions of ICCDU series, in providing a vital platform for exchanging knowledge, innovative approaches, and driving pioneering solutions and sustainable technologies to accelerate the drive towards an effective circular carbon economy.
