Today EuChemS met with the Japan Association for Chemical Innovation (JACI) at EuChemS Brussels Offices in order to discuss possible future collaborations. EuChemS Vice-President, Ulrich Schubert, and JACI´s Director General, Makoto Fujioka led a discussion on, among other topics, how green and sustainable chemistry have a central role in both Academia and Industry of Europe and Japan, and that the collaboration and exchange of ideas regarding global challenges is a fundamental common goal.
