EuChemS participates in European Research & Innovation Days 2025

On 17 September 2025, EuChemS participated in the sixth edition of the European Research & Innovation Days, the European Commission’s flagship event held at The Square in Brussels, Belgium. The event connected policymakers, researchers, business leaders, and the wider innovation community to discuss Europe’s research and innovation priorities and shape a roadmap for competitiveness, sustainability, and industrial leadership.

The programme explored key topics including life sciences, artificial intelligence in science, and the European Research Area, linking high-level policy discussions with tangible scientific and industrial outcomes. EuChemS actively participated in sessions focused on making Europe an attractive hub for life sciences, advancing scientific discovery, and addressing gender equality in STEM careers, among other priorities.

Attending the R&I Days allowed EuChemS to stay informed on the latest discussions shaping Europe’s research and innovation agenda and to explore opportunities for chemistry and the chemical sciences to support sustainable innovation and industrial leadership across the continent.
