EuChemS Awards 2026: Nominations are now open!

The EuChemS Awards celebrate excellence, innovation, service and the rich history of chemistry, recognising those whose achievements contribute to the advancement of the chemical sciences and to the European chemistry community.

We are pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the following EuChemS Awards:

  • EuChemS Gold Medal: recognising exceptional achievements in the field of chemistry and outstanding contributions to the chemical sciences in Europe.
  • EuChemS Industry Innovation Award: recognising outstanding achievements and innovation in industry, including collaboration between industry, academia and other research institutions.
  • EuChemS Lecture Award: celebrating young prominent chemists who, through their work, are changing the future of European chemistry.
  • EuChemS Award for Service: recognising outstanding commitment to fostering chemistry and the molecular sciences in Europe and supporting the goals of EuChemS.
  • EuChemS Historical Landmarks Award: highlighting places across Europe that have played an essential role and impact for the (chemistry) community. It looks forward to celebrating the history of chemistry and its role in Europe’s cultural heritage.
  • Jury Gold Medal Award: a new jury committee for the Gold Medal award will be selected to evaluate the candidates for this prestigious distinction.

Nomination period: 14 September – 18 December 2026, 18:00 CET
