EuChemS joins the RSC Summer Party at the Royal Academy of Arts

Jul 30, 2025

On 21 July 2025, the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) hosted its annual Summer Party at the Royal Academy of Arts in London. EuChemS was represented by its Vice-President, Floris Rutjes, alongside Claudia Bonfio and Fernando Gomollón Bel, both former Chairs of the European Young Chemists’ Network (EYCN).

The evening began with the President’s Reception, where the RSC celebrated four scientists as 2025 Honorary Fellows. Following the reception, guests were invited to explore the galleries of the Royal Academy of Arts, enjoying live jazz, fine food, and a rich display of contemporary and classical artworks.

The presence of EuChemS representatives underscored the ongoing collaboration between European chemical societies and the importance of fostering connections within the scientific community.

A warm thank you to the RSC for the kind invitation and hospitality.
