During the 2019 EuChemS General Assembly in Bucharest, representatives of EuChemS Member Societies and Supporting Members voted for Professor Eckart Rühl to complete a second term as EuChemS Treasurer. Eckart Rühl is currently Professor at the Free University of Berlin.
During his presentation at the General Assembly, Eckart Rühl emphasised his wish to continue advising EuChemS on strategic directions and opportunities in the years to come.
He was thanked for his contribution to the sustainable finances and budget of EuChemS over the previous term.
His second term as EuChemS Treasurer will begin in January 2021.
