Brussels News Update - April 2019

Hello and welcome to the April edition of Brussels News Updates, the monthly EuChemS newsletter keeping you updated on chemistry in Europe and our latest activities, initiatives and events!

The last few weeks have seen a number of important developments take place, particularly over Horizon Europe, the next EU research and innovation framework programme, with a political agreement having been struck between European Parliament representatives and national governments. The next weeks will also see the election campaigns of MEPs get into full swing, with crucial ramifications for the future of science in Europe.
