The actions of the coalition support and compliment other European Green Deal projects, including the European Climate Pact (EuChemS answered to the Public Consultation on the European Climate Pact in June 2020, you can read the complete response <a href=\"https:\/\/www.euchems.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/EuChemS-response-to-public-consultation-on-Climate-Pact.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The priorities of Education for Climate Coalition are the following:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>green skills development<\/li>\n<li>teacher training<\/li>\n<li>promoting behaviour change<\/li>\n<li>linking education and science<\/li>\n<li>collective awareness raising<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Individuals and collective actors \u00ad\u00ad\u00adat the local, regional and national levels will be invited to contribute to the Coalition\u2019s efforts by making pledges for actions on a dedicated online platform that will be released in order to connect stakeholders in the field of education and to enhance innovation and the sharing of knowledge.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A survey of the European Commission to express interest in supporting the work of the Coalition towards realizing the climate goals of the EU received 576 contributions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Read more about it <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/education\/education-in-the-eu\/european-education-area\/education-climate-coalition_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>About the European Education Area<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The European Commission, together with EU member states, is developing initiatives to work towards the creation and implementation of the <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/education\/education-in-the-eu\/european-education-area_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">European Education Area<\/a>.
