{"id":7667,"date":"2020-10-15T13:45:40","date_gmt":"2020-10-15T12:45:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.euchems.eu\/newsletters\/?p=7667"},"modified":"2020-10-15T14:59:19","modified_gmt":"2020-10-15T13:59:19","slug":"latest-echa-committee","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.euchems.eu\/newsletters\/latest-echa-committee\/","title":{"rendered":"Latest ECHA Committee"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The European Chemical Society attended the Committee for Risk Assessment (<a href=\"https:\/\/echa.europa.eu\/about-us\/who-we-are\/committee-for-risk-assessment\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">RAC<\/a>) online meeting of the European Chemicals Agency (<a href=\"https:\/\/echa.europa.eu\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ECHA<\/a>) in September which addressed several pressing issues. Significant topics were discussed, including the new interpretation of the Judgment of the General Court of 7 March 2019 <em>REACH \u2014 Commission Decision authorising the use of lead sulfochromate yellow and of lead chromate molybdate sulfate red \u2013Article 60(4) and (5) of Regulation (EC) No 1907\/2006 \u2014 Examination of the lack of availability of alternatives \u2014 Error of law<\/em>.
