The 8th<\/sup> EuChemS Chemistry Congress (ECC8<\/a>) is getting closer. ECC8 is organised by the Portuguese Chemical Society (SPQ<\/a>) and with the support of the Portuguese Electrochemical Society (SPE<\/a>), and will take place from 30 August to 3 September in Lisbon, Portugal. Registration<\/a> is possible until 15 August 2020.<\/p>\n

The theme of 8th<\/sup> EuChemS Chemistry Congress is \u2018Chemistry the Central Science\u2019, focusing on the central role of chemistry at the interfaces with biology, material and environmental sciences, both for the progress of humankind and for the solution of fundamental problems of modern societies. As of today, 8 plenary lectures were announced and confirmed for the scientific program.<\/p>\n

The preliminary program will be fully available on 1 June, while calls for abstract and fellowship scheme are currently open. You have until 25 April<\/strong> to submit your Poster Communications<\/a>. The call for application for EuChemS Chemistry Congress fellowship scheme<\/a> is open until 31 May<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
