On 5 June 2019 we celebrated the United Nations World Environment Day<\/a>, aimed an encouraging worldwide awareness and action to protect our environment. Organised since 1974, the day focuses around a specific theme to draw attention to a particularly pressing environmental concern, with this year looking at air pollution. The day asked citizens worldwide to think about the different types of pollution, how it affects our health and environment, and ways of tackling issues and improving the air around us.<\/p>\n
