{"id":17437,"date":"2022-11-14T17:23:14","date_gmt":"2022-11-14T16:23:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.euchems.eu\/newsletters\/?p=17437"},"modified":"2022-11-14T17:23:46","modified_gmt":"2022-11-14T16:23:46","slug":"awards-approaching-deadline","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.euchems.eu\/newsletters\/awards-approaching-deadline\/","title":{"rendered":"EuChemS Awards: calls for nominations approaching deadline"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=justify>The call for nominations for several awards from the European Chemical Society \u2013 namely, the EuChemS Gold Medal Award, the EuChemS Lecture Award, the EuChemS Award for Service, and the EuChemS Historical Landmark Award \u2013 are open and will close on 19 December 2022 18:00 CET.<\/p>\n<p align=justify>The<a href=\"https:\/\/www.euchems.eu\/awards\/european-chemistry-gold-medal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> EuChemS Gold Medal Award<\/a> is given to exceptional chemists every two years, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.euchems.eu\/awards\/lecture-award\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EuChemS Lecture<\/a> Award honours the major achievements of junior scientists, and the EuChemS <a href=\"https:\/\/www.euchems.eu\/awards\/award-for-service\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Award for Service<\/a> acknowledges outstanding commitment to fostering Chemistry in Europe. Last but not least, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.euchems.eu\/awards\/euchems-historical-landmarks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the EuChemS Historical Landmark Award<\/a> recognises historical sites of importance from a chemistry standpoint.<\/p>\n<p align=justify>In addition, two EuChemS\u2019 Professional Networks opened up calls for nominations. The Division of Organic Chemistry has two open calls: it\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.euchems.eu\/divisions\/organic-chemistry-2\/nomination-form-euchems-division-of-organic-chemistry-award-for-research\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Award for Research<\/a> and its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.euchems.eu\/divisions\/organic-chemistry-2\/nomination-form-euchems-division-of-organic-chemistry-award-for-service\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Award for Service<\/a>. These calls are open until 31 December 2022.
