{"id":10535,"date":"2021-08-16T13:08:07","date_gmt":"2021-08-16T12:08:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.euchems.eu\/newsletters\/?p=10535"},"modified":"2021-08-16T14:20:50","modified_gmt":"2021-08-16T13:20:50","slug":"urban-waste-water-treatment-directive","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.euchems.eu\/newsletters\/urban-waste-water-treatment-directive\/","title":{"rendered":"EuChemS answered to the public consultation on the UWWTD"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The European Chemical Society (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.euchems.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EuChemS<\/a>) has recently responded to the public consultation on the Urban Waste Water Treatment Directive (<a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/info\/law\/better-regulation\/have-your-say\/initiatives\/12405-Water-pollution-EU-rules-on-urban-wastewater-treatment-update-_en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UWWTD<\/a>) launched by the European Commission.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The UWWTD is part of the EU water policy and aims at ensuring that urban wastewater is clean and safe for protecting public health and the environment.
