We hope you enjoyed celebrating our 50<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary with us this year: even though we had to celebrate it remotely, 2020 will remain a milestone for EuChemS. Stay tuned for the next 50 years \ud83d\ude09!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The last few weeks have seen a number of important developments taking place at the EU level, particularly over the budget of Horizon Europe. In the meantime, the European Young Chemists\u2019 Network (EYCN) co-organised an online session at the 12<sup>th<\/sup> European Innovation Summit, the #EUvsVirus community continued its activities with active participation of EuChemS, and new measures for more sustainable batteries were passed by the European Commission.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">And don\u2019t forget: the calls for 4 EuChemS Awards are open until 31 December 2020!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On behalf of the editorial team of EuChemS Brussels News Updates, we would like to thank all our readers for their interest during this special year.
