The initiative will assess the functioning of enforcement of intellectual property rights (IPRED) and in particular the functioning of a number of its key provisions in the online environment, with a view to identify the possible need for updating such provisions and to propose corrective measures. The evaluation is part of the Commission’s Regulatory Fitness and Performance Programme.
