DESCRIPTION:the IASOC is organized every second year by the University of N
 aples Federico II. It gathers together leading scientists of the highest i
 nternational reputation to provide an overview of the latest advances in t
 he various fields of organic chemistry. Although the main role is educatio
 nal\, the IASOC is well known for providing a meeting ground for young sci
 entists and PhD students who are willing to interact with leading experts 
 in the field of organic chemistry.\n\nThe leading theme of the 2024 Editio
 n of the School\, “Organic Synthesis. The Best Is Yet to Come”\, encom
 passes growing and highly stimulating areas of research\, including organi
 c synthesis and catalysis\, bioorganic chemistry\, and medicinal chemistry
 . The most exciting topics relating to the main theme of the 2024 Edition 
 will be presented and discussed along with current trends and future persp
 ectives.\n\nThe scientific programme will develop over a five-day format a
 nd will consist of a number of lectures delivered by world-class experts i
 n these disciplines (from both academia and industry). Please visit also h

 \, workshops and open sessions (where some of the junior participants are
