DESCRIPTION:The 5th International Symposium on Photopharmacology (ISPP 2026
 ) will take place from April 8 to April 10\, 2026 in Sète\, France\, near
  Montpellier. Photopharmacology is a multidisciplinary field at the interf
 ace of chemistry\, biology\, and pharmacology\, which focuses on using lig
 ht-sensitive compounds whose structures and functions can be precisely con
 trolled in space and time. By harnessing light as an external control\, re
 searchers aim to advance both fundamental research tools and therapeutic a
 pplications. Despite rapid progress\, significant challenges remain on the
  path to clinical use. The symposium’s aim is to bring together leading 
 experts from across disciplines to present their latest work\, exchange id
 eas\, foster collaborations\, and discuss strategies for overcoming curren
