DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\nThe iniative\n\n\n\n\n\nPHOTOCAT24 is an internati
 onal school of advanced training aimed at PhD students\, post-docs\, and 
 young researchers in the fields of sustainability such as photochemistry 
 and biocatalysis\, both in academic and industrial contexts.\n\nMoreover\,
  PHOTOCAT24 aims to facilitate interaction between academia and industry
  by creating a European network for advanced training in sustainable chem
 istry. In fact\, PHOTOCAT24 will be the first in a series of biennial iti
 nerant editions in the venues of the Scientific Committee members:\n\n 
 	Luca Dell’Amico – Padua\, Italy\;\n 	Shoubik Das – University of An
 twerp\, Belgium\;\n 	Rene Königs – RWTH Aachen University\, Germany\;\n
  	Bartholomäus Pieber – Wien University\, Austria\;\n 	Marcos Garcia Su
 ero – ICIQ\, Spain\;\n 	Olalla Vazquez – Philipps Universität Marburg
 \, Germany.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPHOTOCAT24 will bridge the gap bet
 ween academia and industry by training a new generation of researchers in
  the field of green chemistry\, which uses sustainable sources such as su
 nlight and biocatalysts. This\, combined with the international dimension 
 and biennial frequency\, will give further impetus to the sustainable grow
 th of the regional chemical system with a final impact also at the nationa
 l and European levels. In addition\, the European network that will be est
 ablished will lead to the development of collaborative projects and the
  mobility of young researchers involved.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPHOTOC
 AT24 - Padova\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPHOTOCAT24 will be held at the lect
 ure halls of the Department of Chemical Sciences (DiSC) of the Universi
 ty of Padua. The opening and closing ceremonies of the school will take pl
 ace at the headquarters of Palazzo Bo and the Botanical Garden.\n\nPHOT
 OCAT24 will feature the participation of sixteen speakers\, whose present
 ations will be distributed in twelve lectures\, chaired by members of the
  Scientific and Organizing Committees. The participating speakers are the
  top experts in the field of photo and biocatalysis\, as evidenced by t
 heir presence in the lists of world’s Highly Cited Scientists (Clarivate
  Analytics) and the relevance of their publications.\n\nTwo poster presen
 tation sessions of the participants’ research are also scheduled. The m
 ost relevant contributions will be selected by a group consisting of membe
 rs of the Organizing and Scientific Committees and the speakers\, and wi
 ll have the opportunity to present their results through a short oral pre
 sentation. Finally\, the same committee will select the 3 best oral presen
 tations to be awarded.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
