DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn the year celebrating 75 years of continuous ac
 tivity in the field of applied research\, the National Institute for Resea
 rch and Development in Chemistry and Petrochemistry – ICECHIM Bucharest 
 invites you to the 7th edition of the Exploratory Workshop NeXT-Chem: Inno
 vative cross-sectoral technologies\, taking place on May 22-23 2025\, at t
 he INCDCP-ICECHIM headquarters\, 202 Spl. Independenței\, Sector 6\, Buch
 arest. Our event aims to bring together young researchers\, in order to en
 courage them to share their progress in chemistry and chemical engineering
 . \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe workshop represents a great opportunity for 
 Master and PhD students to address the targets of the National Research\, 
 Development and Innovation Plan 2022-2027 and the Romanian National Strate
 gy for Research\, Innovation and Smart Specialization 2022-2027 (which als
 o constitute the main focus areas of ICECHIM).\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOn this occa
 sion\, we will be honored by the presence of prestigious international gue

 A \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe topics addressed within the exploratory workshop are
  related to the international interests in the field\, such as: nanoscienc
 es and nanomaterials\, polymeric materials and nanomaterials\, environment
 al and cultural heritage protection\, sustainable management of resources\
 , valuation of bioresources\, increasing the competitiveness of industrial
  products\, revitalization of the national chemical industry\, recovery\, 
 recycling and valuation of agro-industrial by-products.\nNeXT-Chem VII rec
 ognizes the transformative potential of quantum science and technology as 
 a frontier in cross-sectoral innovation. Are specifically encouraged paper
 s that explore how quantum approaches intersect with advanced chemistry\, 
 nanomaterials\, and molecular engineering\, celebrating the growing role o
 f quantum technologies in shaping sustainable solutions and next-generatio
 n processes. Through this interdisciplinary dialogue\, NeXT-Chem VII posit
 ions itself as a platform that promotes awareness\, collaboration\, and in
 novation at the interface between chemistry and the quantum revolution. Th
 is year’s edition of NeXT-Chem will take place under the auspices of the
  International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ)\, which celebr
 ates 100 years since the initial development of quantum mechanics. \n\n\n\
 n\n\n\n\nThe event will be held in English\, in a hybrid format (online an
 d at the ICECHIM headquarters)\, and no registration fees will be charged.
