SUMMARY:Catalysing Diversity: How to Tackle Our Current Biases (2024 GWB)
DESCRIPTION:EuChemS is proud to announce its 2024 Global Woman Breakfast on
 line event\, titled “Catalysing Diversity – How to Tackle Our Current
  Biases”. The online event will take place on Tuesday 27 February 2023
  11:00 – 12:00 Brussels time.\n\nThis event will address the topic of un
 seen social biases in the world of chemists and the wider community.\nIn a
  mixed format with interviews\, and conversations with our audience\, our 
 panellists – junior and senior researchers in academia and industry – 
 will talk about their experiences. By connecting those who are well establ
 ished in their career and those who are at the beginning of this path\, we
  aim to identify the challenges they face\, and the biases they have to ov
 ercome\, while acknowledging that biases are often internalised.\nApproach
 ing the matter from the standpoint of science ethics\, gender equality and
  diversity\, this event aims at levelling the playing field\, and helping 
 researchers to achieve their full potential.\nThis EuChemS Global Women’
 s Breakfast event is part of IUPAC’s Global Women’s Breakfast (#GWB2
 024) initiative.\n\nThe Global Women’s Breakfast event will be hosted by
  2024 EuChemS President Angela Agostiano.\n\nSpeakers and the detailed pro
 gramme will be announced soon.
