SUMMARY:3rd Student Congress on Sustainable Chemistry and Engineering
DESCRIPTION:The goals of the Student Congress on Sustainable Chemistry and
Engineering (SKOKI) project have\, for many years\, helped bring sustainab
ility concepts closer to students of chemical engineering\, chemistry\, me
chanical engineering\, pharmacy\, medicine\, and beyond. It also serves as
a platform for dialogue and the exchange of knowledge and expertise in ac
hieving ecological\, social\, and economic sustainability. The aim is to m
otivate students to understand sustainability concepts and\, potentially\,
to pursue careers in this direction.\nAnother dimension of the project’
s objectives is popularizing sustainable processes in STEM\, helping the w
ider public understand why and how we move toward sustainability and how t
his is reflected in everyday things: from non-removable bottle caps to the
use of paper derivatives instead of plastics. Every innovation serves a p
urpose\, and we're here to explain which and how.\nThis conference gathers
experts in sustainability\; only together can they create a clear picture
of why sustainability matters and how we can achieve it. As professionals
at the heart of developing sustainable materials\, batteries\, and green
technologies\, sustainability is a central focus of our activities. In thi
s rapidly changing landscape\, where new technologies and perspectives eme
rge every day\, it is extremely important to participate in dialogue with
leading experts - something to accomplish through SKOKI.
