SUMMARY:3rd GREENERING International Conference (GREENERING)
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nGREENERING International Conference is an event initiated
  within the Green Chemical Engineering Network towards upscaling sustainab
 le processes (CA18224) – the GREENERING Action\, funded by the European 
 Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) from Brussels\, Belgium. The 
 objective of the GREENERING COST Action was to promote and boost the indus
 trial application of green chemistry and sustainable technologies. The GRE
 ENERING International Conference was established in line with those object
 ives\, aiming to gather academics\, researchers\, and companies in an inte
 rnational forum to promote the application of green chemistry and sustaina
 ble technologies in industries\, focusing on environmental\, innovation\, 
 economic\, and policy aspects.\nThe Greenering International Conference co
 vered up to now a wide range of topics\, including: Alternative solvents\;
  Green extraction\; Waste treatment and valorisation\; Bioactive compounds
  fractionating and formulation using green techniques\; Biofuels and Bioen
 ergy\; CO2 capture and Utilization\; Green reactions and Catalysis\; Biopo
 lymers and advanced biomaterials\; Green processes scale-up and industrial
  applications\; Green Policy and Innovations.\nThe 1st GREENERING Internat
 ional Conference was a two-day event held in February 2021\, in Costa da C
 aparica\, Portugal\, hosted by DES Solutio\, Universidade Nova de Lisboa\,
  Portugal. This two-day event gathered 131 participants from 27 different 
 countries. 35 lectures were given\, and 96 posters were presented. The 2nd
  GREENERING International Conference was a three-day event\, organized in 
 March 2023. The event was hosted by the Bioeconomy Institute – BioEcoUVa
 \, from the University of Valladolid in Spain. It gathered 148 participant
 s from 26 countries. 68 speakers gave their talks\, while 78 works were pr
 esented in poster form.\nThe 3rd GREENERING International Conference\, as 
 a 3-day event\, will be organized from 12th to 14th February 2025\, at the
  Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi\, UAE. The event will be focused on the f
 ollowing topics:1. Alternative green solvents and related technologies and
  processes.\n2. Green strategy embedded in biotechnology: biomass\, bioene
 rgy\, and biobased products.\n3. Sustainable practices in biorefineries an
 d waste valorisation as a key priority.\n4. Green solutions in development
  of biopolymers and advanced materials.\n5. Advanced CO2 capture and utili
 zation.\n6. Mechanochemistry and mechanical synthesis for green chemistry:
  chemical reactions and materials state transformations.\n7. Innovative gr
 een reactions: synthesis and catalysis.\n\n\n
