EuChemS Response to the Public Consultation on Trans Fatty Acids

In February 2018 EuChemS submitted an answer to the European Commission’s Public Consultation on the initiative to limit industrial trans fats intakes in the EU. In this answer, EuChemS calls for extending the nutrition declaration (Art. 30 (EU) No 1169/2011) to include trans fatty acids, as well as for harmonizing the current different national recommendations.
